Well you can make them a 2-in-1 :p buy a concealer that's lighter than your foundation. when you apply it under your eyes & blend it out, it'll add a highlighted effect.
what exactly do you want to know about highlighting & concealing?

So, concealer you apply after foundation typically. you use it to cover up blemishes that still show through the foundation. you also use it to hide undereye circles. concealer is different from corrector tho, so don't get those 2 mixed up at the stores!
highlighter is meant to, well, highlight your face c: you highlight your upper check/undereye area, down the bridge of your nose, the majority of the forehead, the cupids bow & the chin.. I provided a photo below to help show you.
this is a pretty extreme form of contouring/highlighting tho xD if you have IG you should look him up. he posts a lot of photos about highlighting/contouring.
