Try calcium nail polish or sally Hansen hard as nails.

Hi. my nails used to peel and crack. After using many products, I found OPI Nail Envy, the best. You apply 2 coats then 1 coat every other day for a week. Then remove it and start again. It can be used over nail polish and comes in a matt version for those who can't wear polish at work. I can't say enough about this product. It really changed my nails. Now I only use it once a week. It cost about? 14 but lasts for ages. A good cuticle oil helps too.

Thanks, Tony! It's nice to get some "real people reviews" instead of ending up buying useless products.

Are you wearing dish washing gloves when doing house cleaning and dishes? If not you should definitely pick up a pair. I keep several pairs on hand and they keep my nails from getting abused.

Great tip, Shelley. I do wear gloves when I clean, but I have two kids in diapers, so I wash my hands a lot everyday. Maybe I should pick up some disposable gloves for diaper changing...

I use disposable gloves when I cook because a lot of the stuff I make requires use of hands to mix and the thought of using bare hands doesn't sit well with me at all.lol. You get them at Sams Club or Costco if here in the You.S. and I think Walmart sells them too.
