Ok this might be off topic, but I need help. I'm from Boston and I'm traveling to San Diego tomorrow. I have no idea what to wear. Here in Boston it's all fall clothes (scarves, boots, winter coats, etc). I've heard some people say to dress fall like but my friend thinks we should bring summer dresses cause it's kinda warm (maybe low 70s). I have no idea what to wear and am stressing out LOL. We will be walking around during the day and going out at night. Any suggestions?

Dress in layers. I'm a Cali girl and the weather out there has a tendency to flip the script when you least expect it. And since San Diego sits right off the water it can get a little chilly at night. So I would pack light sweaters that you wear over tank tops, jeans, maxi dresses that you can wear cardigans with. Don't bother with short summer dresses though. San Diego is a pretty laid-back city...nothing like L.A. so just dress with comfort and ease.

Totally agree with Shelley, I used to go to SD (from upstate NY) at least 4-5 a year (it's an awesome place) and would always bring layering clothes. It's a pain for packing, but bring a light jacket and a few cardigans and you'll be good to go...also agree with the thin scarves. If I was ever lacking these items before traveling I would grab then from H&M...you can grab a couple scarves and some basics for $50!! Have a great time!
PS > I would leave the summer dresses at home this time of year...just have a couple tanks with you to strip down to if it gets too warm.

Hi Maggie,I live in San Diego and the weather is going to be in the 70s and up to 80s and at night It will be chilly. We still sport the flip flops and shorts lol but it's a must for a coat and sweaters for the evening. :-) Hope you enjoy it here in SD.

Last 2 wkends have been pretty warm here but it cools down at night. But you're from Boston so our cold isn't like east coast. I agree with the other ladies to pack a scarf and cardi or light jacket. If you go out dancin downtown, lots of girls wear dresses. It says 70s and cloudy for sat but you could maybe get away with a jean jacket and summer dress for Friday.
