Ok I can't be the only one to suffer from breakouts after using MAC foundations or other products?? But I found the best solution that is less expensive than a good primer! It's Cetaphil face lotion and Hydrocortisone! First, take a little bit of the Hydrocortisone and work it into your skin. Then, take the Cetaphil lotion and work it into your skin. Finally, apply MAC foundation as usual. I found that this worked because it created a layer between the skin and the makeup. Hope this helps!

Whip the bad boy out Jessica!! It's a great product but I think that the breakouts it's caused has turned a lot of people off of it! So I hope that it can help others combat this problem!

Hydrocortisone is not something you want to use often. you should really only b using it on breakout..
just my 2cents.
if products break you out. you should discontinue use.
I kno. I kno.. Mac breakouts suck. but b careful using "medicine" to resolve.
maybe try just using the cetaphil.?

It's not safe for your skin to be using hydrocortisone like that...

Mac has so many formulas into the foundation, it tends to break out so many people! which makes them not use it again, but on the other hand Mac foundations doesn't break out mamy people also, some people like the foundation and some don't, which for me Mac foundation broke me out to the extreme, My cousin uses the foundation and she loves it! Mac foundation is just not for everyone

And I don't believe there's such a thing as creating a "layer" between skin and makeup unless you're using a silicone or oil like mineral. But correct me if I'm wrong.
