It's also making sure you have a good moisturizer and primer to go with your foundation.
I use NARS tinted moisturizer. I just bought Urban Decay's foundation so I'm going to see how that goes.

I had severely dry skin for the longest time and I know how frustrating it is :( I'm still on the drier side but it's definitely regulated now! The most important thing is to take care of your skin first.
Clinique Moisture Surge Intense moisturizer has honestly saved my skin and cured my facial eczema.
As for foundation, Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua is absolutely phenomenal. It's my hands down favourite foundation. It's lightweight, but still has good coverage. It doesn't settle into pores or look flakey at all and it lasts all day. It's genuinely improved the look and texture of my skin!
I have tried so so so many foundations, and this is one of the few that I like!
Clinique Supermoisture is also really great!
