I think you look great I'm 43 and I think as you get older less is sometimes more I think your brows are a bit to far apart and should start more towards your tear duct maybe a bit more blush but other than that just keep up with a good anti aging skincare routine

I like the natural look of your makeup and completly agree w Traci^ I would also recommend a better under eye concealer. Other than that that youre already fab:-) I also love your lip color by the way.

Thanks ladies! great suggestions. Traci, totally agree about the brows, its so frustrating because I have overplucked for years and they won't grow now! ugh!

Tip with under eye concealer:
-Pat it with one finger to blend it out. Heat from your hand helps it blend better.
-Also don't go in one motion (outward) or rub it (that just pushes the product around)
-go back and forth. Starting from your inner corner to your cheek bone and back. This prevents concealer from settling into fine lines
- and always set it with a powder

I'm turning 42 in December and love anything that is makeup,hair,skin etc..I will rock the glitter at times which some may not find age appropriate but who makes these rules? Like, after 40 you have to cut your hair etc..I say do what makes you feel happy.

Oh, Anastasia kit is the best years ago trying to get Angelina Joliet brows and ended up with no brows! I've used that brownie since. They did grow back after a few awkward months.

Lol I'm not age appropriate myself Annmarie but I figure with all my tattoos and piercings I should dial my makeup down lol I will rock a glitter liner once in a while thou.

Lol @ Traci..who's to say what is age appropriate for anyone but themselves IMO. I wanted the full 7 piece kit Dr.Graf, but I'm on a budget so went on amazon and ordered 2 products. If you would like to recommend any products would love to hear it. I'm all about the skin care my mom had me doing regime at 6 y/o and although I live in Florida I stay put of the sun do hopefully those preventive measures will help. I've never had a facial only from myself and am so curious about the oxygen facial.

I do oxygen facials at work I love them but at home I use a derma wand its a high frequency machine and it floods your skin with enriched oxygen you can do it yourself at home daily.

Age appropriate? What is that!? I'm going to be 40 in Feb and I was told not to wear glitter eyeshadow. Life is too short...I wanna have fun till the day I kick the bucket.lol. Lori, you're skin is gorgeous and one tip that I learned this past year as I noticed that I'm losing the fullness in my face...do not apply blush directly on your cheeks. Apply directly above so when you aren't smiling it doesn't look like the cheeks have dropped to the ground. That tip for me was a huge lifesaver and now I'm addicted to wearing blush because changing up the placement has really brightened up my face overall.

@Shelley your right about that.

Shelley w, thanks for the blush tip. I need all the help I can get. And I agree about throwing thr rules out the window to a certain extent, I love to experiment with color and even a little glitter now and then. I'm not ready to look like I'm "old" quite yet if I can help it.

To be completely honest the blond brings out your natural features it compliments your skin tone and eyes wonderfully
If you want to change your look you can try a nice bright colorful lipstick. Maybe a red or a nice mauve. A great lip color will make your overall look stand out without looking overdone :)

I like the blonde hair on you. It really brightens up your face! Maybe you could try a few ombré highlights around your face for a lower maintenance do.
