Hello everyone, Im new on here and Im also new to make-up. This is because my dad never let me wear any when I was living under his rules. Ive thought alot about what I want to do for my make-up this halloween and Im thinking of a skull candy. Although I have no clue of what type of make-up I should begin with. You know, like eyeshodows, primers, colors that can be used all over the face? If I could please get your feedback it would be of great help and very apriciated thank you! <3

Do you mean the Sugar Skull makeup?

I would probably start with a makeup primer, but it's not necessary. It depends on how much you'll sweat and how much you naturally get oily. Primer just helps the makeup stick to your face better.

Are you looking for makeup just for Halloween, or also for everyday wear? If you just want something for Halloween, I would suggest you just go ahead and get some theatrical "grease" paint. You can find color wheels for cheap from good brands online, like Kryolan. These will work better for a Sugar Skull full face look than any "beauty" makeup.

If you're interested in starting to wear makeup during normal days, I would suggest just starting with a foundation, concealer and mascara. If you have oily skin, try powder or mineral foundation- if your skin is more dry, go with liquid. But these are the 3 basics that should get you started, and they're not difficult. Plus, they don't make you LOOK like you're really wearing much makeup.

Have fun getting started!  :D

You should invest in a wolf brothers face paint palette. It's got every color you need for sugar skull makeup or anything else really. It is really easy to use all you need is water to activate the makeup. It looks like a watercolor set just in case your dad finds it it doesnt look like make up :) it also comes with 1 brush. You might want to also invest in an eyeliner brush for small fine detailed lines. Hope this helps!
