If you're looking for drug store brands I recommend Revlon, wet-n-wild, or Maybelline. The color payments are so worth it. Very pigmented & applies on easily so if you want some drugstore lipsticks definitely try those out. As for high end lipsticks MAC, NYX (also @ Target), and YSL!

Nothing like a MAC lipstick :) for drugstore I like Revlon and some Covergirl. Maybelline is a little too waxy for me.

What do you look for in a lipstick? Sheen? True pigment/lasting power? Totally depends on what kind of formula you prefer to wear.
I really like Sephora brand lipsticks. Their price point is totally reasonable with tons of tonal freedom. NYX is a wallet-friendly brand that offers multiple formulas and a wide range of colors as well..
Recently, I purchased an Urban Decay lipstick in shade 69.. it's the perfect cool-red to wear. I get tons of compliments on it, and it wasn't TOO expensive. Staying power is great. I really love it if you're looking to slightly spoil yourself!
