I lost 20 lbs by doing boot camp classes 3x a week & eating healthier... I lost another 20 doing weight watchers & working out.
Basically you have to move your body more! Find something you enjoy & do it often. I like boot camp style workouts && not dancy type workouts so I tend to gravitate to Jillian Michaels over Zumba lol.
As far as eating healthy I think it's better to avoid "diets" && try to make lifestyle changes yes it sounds corny but it works lol start by adding one good habit at a time like choosing water over soda or real oatmeal over sugar cereal.
Basically find workouts you love & making feeding your body REAL whole healthy foods s priority!
I'm down to like 200lbs && I'm still working to lose 25-35 more!!

I lost 53 lbs by doing the hcg program. You have to go into it realizing that it's not just a 40 day diet, it's a lifestyle change. Up until a few weeks ago I had done really well maintaining the loss but then the doctor switched up my meds #blahh

I'll make this as simple as possible: Stop eating fast food, junk food, candy, sweets, desserts, Starbucks frappuccino's, you name it! cut out all the fatty foods you currently eat & start eating vegetables, fruits, whole wheat/whole grains. Drink lots of water (i recommend 1 gallon daily) cut out soda & those really sugary juice drinks. Crystal Light is a good alternative! most importantly you need to start working out (exercise) I recommend you start with 45 mins at least 4 or 5 times a week then increase your time slowly as your body gets used to the workouts. You do all this without cheating, without skipping workouts & you will see the weight loss most definitely. You will look & be healthier. You have to be really committed. If you really want it, you do it. If not, you'll make an excuse.

By the way, i would not recommend you take any diet pills or herbs or whatever to curb your appetite. Those supplements just ruin your health, you may lose weight taking them but its not the natural way & you'll gain it back. Supplements mess with your immune system. Best way is change the way you eat = diet & exercise. And accept that it wont happen over night. It will be months before you see weightloss depending on how your body is. Good luck!

Tonalin CLA is a supplement I've been using that can be found in the vitamin section of Wal-Mart(you have to look hard for it because it doesn't stand out). It's supposed to eliminate fat and slim places like the waist and face. I lost about 8lbs in about 2 weeks by taking 2 pills twice a day with food.

try starting out slow since your body isn't used to a lot of working out and eating very healthy. do lots of cardio and eat foods that you know are good for you. start drinking a lot of water. if you like green tea, its proven to speed up your metabolism, so drink lots of this as well. you shouldn't start out doing hardcore workouts.
as a side note, taking any type of weight loss pills is not going to work. these pills take water weight off of your body, not fat. to be honest, your entire body will end up being a deflated balloon.. literally. and once you're off the pills, you will gain all of that weight back. there are natural things that help speed up your metabolism including green tea; try eating more mushrooms, onions, and berries.
once you've gotten the hang of somewhat working out and eating right and you've lost a good amount of weight so far (the easy weight, that'll slide right off), you can start working out and eating right more intensely.
i use a program called beach body, or p90x. these workouts are VERY hardcore. honestly, i started crying when i started them. they are dvds that you just put into your dvd player and watch off of a tv. most of the things that you will be using are things from your home, like a towel, chair, etc. the only other things you might need to go out and purchase are weights and bands. the dvd package will explain all the details for you. this workout worked out for me because it was just so easy to put in the dvd and workout at home instead of going to the gym. it also comes with a meal plan for you to eat healthy, but i just watched what i ate instead and followed a different diet called the Abs Diet for Women (all of the books and meal recipe books can be found at any/most bookstores). reading and learning about your body and how to eat healthy, workout, etc is key to knowing how to get your body in shape and keep your body in shape.
i will be brutally honest with you.. this is not easy.
you need to have the motivation and confidence to achieve this. keep a picture of the type of body you want in your room taped to your door or to a mirror to remind you of what your working for. attached is a picture of the one that i use and is taped up to my dresser mirror.
if you have any questions about absolutely anything regarding this topic, then message me. i will be happy to give you any advice and answer any of your questions.
remember, this doesn't come easy.
i wish you all the best of luck and i hope what i've said helps at least somewhat.

Keep a food journal so you can keep track of how much of what you're eating. My fitness pal iPhone app is the one I use to help me keep my calories in check! ( also tracks your progress)
For workout, I love P90X. You WILL get results with this program! Good luck!
