Regular acrylic paint?

Just wondering, do you need to use special acrylic paint on your nails or can you just use regular acrylic paint.

Thanx, I wasn't sure coz I've seen paint meant to be just for nails but as I already have regular paint I didn't want to spend lots of money on it if I don't need to :-)
