Contouring and highlighting

So I know a lot of people have different techniques to contouring and highlighting. I'm curious, what is your favorite way to contour and highlight as far as what products do you like to use and what is your favorite way to blend the products.

I personally like to use a dark and a light foundation, followed by a light powder, a bronzing powder and a highlighter/illuminater. I use a foundation brush to pack it on and a beauty blender to blend out the harsh lines. For a sheer look I wet my sponge and on the days I want a very full coverage look, I actually use it dry. My favorite foundations right now are Mac studio fix and makeup forever HD. My go to highlighter is Victoria's Secret or Lorac tantilizer and bronzer is Mac or Victoria's Secret.

I usually use powders to highlight and contour or a cream for highlighting. there are actually some good cheap alternatives that I have found as well. hard candy has a double ended stick type bronzed and highlighter and it works great. for foundation I use mac face and body and it is extremely sheer but my face looks great in this stuff. I powder it with msfn and as it sets it just looks better n better. I tend to highlight just above my cheeks and above my eyebrows if I'm using a shimmery type of highlighter, otherwise its overkill! its always fun to play around each day trying out new ways to do things.

Oh,also withh this foundation I use concealer to cover the spots that need extra coverage and it looks beautiful. I would use this on anyone:-)

Thank you Erica. I was wondering about the hard candy one actually. Good to know I'm going to try it.  :)

I think it was like six dollars or something and I really like it:-)

Erica That's awesome I want to get it for an everyday look.

Angelique I just ordered some banana powder that is definitely the best. But I find with banana powder it's better to count our with a darker foundation before then go over it with a bronzer.
