For over night results use toothpaste. I know it sounds weird but toothpaste has drying agents that dry out all the excess oil that causes breakouts which is what pro-activ does too. Try to use a white toothpaste instead of a gel.

Don't use toothpaste! its meant for your teeth not your skin it can reall damage it
*exfoliate it
*steam face over a big bowl of hot water
*close pores with cold water
*dab some aloe vera, tea tea tree oil, sudocrem or tcp whatever one you have at home or can easily get and leave it on overnight should notice results

Actually. Don't get a concealer than matches your skin. Get an opposing color concealer. For your skin tone go for a little light degrees concealer and just a pencil tip DAB will naturally wipe that away. Green is across from red on the colors he'll so it neutralizes it. Depending on how red, you could do the green, then use a skin matching foundation on top so it blends in SO BEAUYIFULLY.
If you wanna get rid of it fast you could do what yolande says, but for an overnight cream I found (weird but works) that melagel, aloe vera, tea tree oil, rapid clean neutrogena, and Vicks vapor rub, work the best. Melagel is a topical agent that is antibacterial but it is not labeled as non comedigenic. I haven't had any problems though. This is to heal the zit if you wanna go that way, I find it safer to do it this way to avoid scarring. Tea tree oil is a natural anti inflammatory and antibaterial so it helps dry out that zit naturally. Rapid clear is SO AMAZING but it's so drying! I use aloe Vera with it to avoid that since aloe is VERY soothing. And Vicks... So weird. It works though. But I only use this for cystic spots (under the skin hard buggers) it has a lot of the same different active adeptness fighting ingredients in it I don't know what they are but it just works... It does have petroleum in it and I have heard this MIGHT clog pores so I don't know but it has never done anything bad to my skin.

And Hilary knows what she's talking about. Eye drops are anti inflammatory (obviously) but they are made so mild for the eyes it does nothing but help your face reduce redness. No damage, no clogged pores.
