Are you guys ready for this? Hair spray... yup I said hair spray. I use Ausie. If your looking solely to keep your make up in place all day it works fanfreakingtabulous. I do it every day and it never fails even in crazy Kansas weather..

I use to use hairspray sometimes before I invested in UDs all nighter. I found that hairspray was very drying on my skin and felt very uncomfortable. Model in a bottle is meant to be good for the same effect just not so stiff lol. In saying that I will sometimes hair spray the real techniques setting brush and dab it over my eyeshadow to reduce any fallout :)

I wish I could afford UD anything lol. I thought hair spray would feel sticky and gross on my skin when a friens told me tbats what she did but it totally doesn't and my stuff stays all day long.. at least its a cheap alternative for people like me.

Yeah it's pretty dear!! I live in aus so I've ordered the nyx setting sprays to try out to see if they compare cause I pay about $33 for the ud one and right now that's a bit of a stretch!!
That's pretty good, I'm not familiar with the hairspray you mentioned but is it like a light hold?? All I have at home is the extreme hold ones so maybe that was why mine was so sticky and stiff??

I have ud and it works great! I also have nyx and its pretty good for 3 $!! If you don't wanna invest in the ud, try nyx ;)

Not sure if you're talking about the nyx, ud or hairspray, but the nyx and ud sprays come in mattifying versions for oily skin. The ud one is called deslick :)

Hairspray does work well but it is awful for your skins and tends to be drying. You should really only use it if you have no other option (that's the only time I use it, myself)

Elf has a makeup setting spray that's 3$. Hairspray may work, but it'll clog up your pores. It's not meant for your face.

I have the elf one and it sucks. at least for me.. I tend to have oily t zone and dryer cheecks I use flixable hold ausie hair spray and have been for a while with no problems to my skin I just wash and moisturize like normal. I will have to check out nyx but a lot of the reviews I've read said that the mattifying one doesn't work very well.

And hey I aint knocking UD or MAC or anything else if you can afford that stuff and it works for your congrats.. I'm just saying hairspray works for me and better than what's in my price point and what I have tried.. I will have to check nyx out sometime though.

Lol it does work... I don't like douse my face in hair spray then I think itd feel tacky. I work at a daycare and am constantly running around and sweating and when I look in the mirror most my make up is still where I put it.

So I wore some hairspray over my makeup for this dinner.. and I have to admit that my makeup did stay on better than usual, especially how my concealer didnt crease and I loved how it kept my brows in place. however, when I did but it on it felt a bit cakey. also, taking off my makeup was quite difficult with the hairspray on my hair. so I'm deff going to use it when I go to a night even where it might be hot or where ill spend a long time. but for daily, I think ill just do my eyebrows.

Sweeeet. To take my makeup off I think I use equate night time make up removing cloths? I don't know when I get home ill post a pic.. they work very well with or w/the hair spray on my face. Plus they are cheeeeeaaaaaapppppp.
