Yes. They are a great base for your eye makeup. My fav is painterly paintpot. I need this. However if your not big on heavy eye makeup or eye makeup at all there's not much point. An alternative could be concealer, and if your eyeshadow tends to crease apply light powder on the concealer to lock it in. This is also a brilliant alternative.

The hole point of a paint pot is so it acts like a thick bace so you're eyeshadows won't rub off, fade, or Crease :) the maybellines color eye tattoo WILL crease

I've never had the Maybelline colour tattoo's crease and they never rub off. For the price I would rather spend my money there.
