I've been using hair spray about everyday here recently and I've noticed my strands seem to becoming straw like the no wash night! I normally go a day in between washings but I've noticed I've been able to go 3 or 4 without any greasiness. Is it the the hairspray just needing to be washed out or is it actually drying my hair out? I've heard the alcohol in it could do that.
I've got long hair, mid back and want to keep it healthy so I've been trying to be more hair health conscious. Even been looking at recipes for homemade shampoos and conditioners because if natural ingredients, quality and its a lot cheaper. But is natural really the way to go? Especially if the old saying is correct "you get what you pay for.". Should I break down and buy the top of the line stuff? What are some of your ideas?

I have really long hair too! My hair used to break like crazy until i started using Aussie. I usually use the Moist Shampoo & Conditioner. They also have a really light hairspray that works great. But if you need hairspray with more hold try TRESemme 24 Hour Body I love it but I make sure I dont drown my hair in it so it doesnt look crunchy lol
