Alright,so I don't really have acne like cystic acne ,but I have clogged pores on my forehead that looks like tiny bumps and it is very irritating.I've been using proactive for over a month now but nothing seems to work, even the
benzoyl peroxide won't work.I am constantly breaking out. I've tried every possible solution but nothing seems to work for me should I
resort to picking on them using extractors? Oh and I've had numerous facials already but didn't seem to help either. It's really frustrating because my acne isn't really that bad but rather just a series of clogged pores. How do I get rid of them? any recommendations or possible solutions? Just to mention I have a very good hygiene and skin care routine.

Going to a dermatologist is the best thing you can do. I had a similar problem, but the dermatologist gave me a prescribed face wash and that cleared up my face.

I would stop using proactive if I were you. It actually makes it worse when you stop using it. It's made so you keep buying it.
I have the same thing as you except with the cystic acne. I've always looked for natural ways to help my body. I have been using lemons and taking the juice and letting it dry on my face and then washing my face. I have been doing this for two weeks and have gotten great results. I pretty much have a clear face. :)

Btw I do this every other day before a shower or my face drys out the next day if I do it right after.

Proactive has actually been scientifically proven to be one the worse products you can use on your skin, yes it sometimes MAY get rid of pimples but its doing worse damage to your skin then what pimples do. Proactive drys up your skin and does such bad damage.
Best thing to do is get on the pill as it has been the best thing I have done I used to have bad break outs but ever since I got on the pill, changed to a healthy nutritious diet and cleaned my face thoroughly every night before bed and mornings before I put make up on my acne has never came back not as bad anyway it cleared my face up now I'd say my skin is perfect but you must clean and Put lotion on your face also the make up you use can sometimes be the reason you break out try researching your make up and the ingredients it has in it, I recommend using Napoleon make up I switched my foundation over to Napoleon and it never made my face oily or break out its perfect and looks natural. X

I used to have those little bumps too, and my dermatologist prescribed Epiduo, which took care of the problem.

Ugh don't use proactive. It has so much medicine in it that it actually over medicates your skin and I irritates it. Use saint Ives. They are natural products, they are cheep and the new green tea facial cleanser and scub are AMAZING For acne and for a spot treatment use tea tree oil, it will make your skin better in a matter of hours :) hope I helped

Proactive has the tendency to dry your skin out. Most of their products are not exfoliators and your dry skin builds up creating more breakouts. I personally would buy an exfoliating mask and use it once or twice a week. I would also stick to a ance wash that suites your skin and is not too harsh, you don't want something that will dry out/break it out more. So something fairly neautrail. And if you do use you a moisturizer, make sure your using one thats meant for acne prone skin. Thats all just my personal opinion. I had used Proactive when I was younger and it resulted in my acne becoming more vicious. (I stick to exfoliating, neutral face wash, & moisturizer. I also have combination skin)
