DO NOT use a nail file, you are doing crap to your nails. Make thaf your last resort. I'm not sure if you can do anything else...sorry

Pain over it with a clear top coat or any other nail polish you have and then quickly wipe it off it will take off the nail polish :) hope that helps.

I know sometimes you can't, but why don't you just go out and buy some? Its literally 2 dollars around here, I can't think its much more around there. But you can use acetone if you have any, paint a clear coat then peel it off. You can try soaking your nails forever in water. I know my nail polish always chipps and peels off if I take a super long batg.
