Depending on what you're doing.
As a makeup artist I think it's good to use your name since it'll be memorable. For salons etc. then yeah of course create a name. If you intend on creating a muabusiness in the future I.e a team of MUAs called in for evens you can also create a fun name.
My MUA business is C. Her Makeup. My name is Carolyn Hernandez so it incorporates my name but also becomes a play on words and lets people know what I'm about. :)

My business is called Siren Make-Up Artistry, it really depends on the feel you want it to have with your name in it seems more personal a created name seems more like a large business. I went for a creates name because my name is just so common and I wanted something memorable.
