Color change help?

My hair red right now and I want to change it to a light golden brown. does anyone know if I where to dye it if it going to turn orange instead of the color I want. any recommendations ladies?

I don't think it would turn orange, though it might turn it an auburn instead of a golden brown. The best thing to do would be to ask a hair salon what they think (even if you plan on doing it yourself). It's a lot easier to tell the kind of colors it would turn when you can physically see your hair and the color you want to go. I know it depends on the dye your using and how light your hair is and how light you want to go.
