Hey girls I know the basics but what products do you use and where do you like using them for highlighting and contouring, also what brushes do you use for it and how much difference does it actually make to YOUR face? x

Well, for contouring, I use Benefit Hoola bronzer, but for years I actually used some matte brown eyeshadows (MAC Espresso). I use an angled face brush, the Sigma F40, and first apply it where the natural hollows in my face are most prominent. This is just a little bit in front of my hairline. I then blend it up to make a gradient. Then, I put a little bit on my temples, and underneath my jaw. I think that this makes a noticeable difference in my face, but not too much, because I want it to look natural. For a highlight, I use Benefit Highbeam, but sometimes I use MAC Naked Lunch eyeshadow when I want a powder. I just think that this looks pretty, and it does draw attention to my cheekbones, but ti doesn't make them look any bigger or more prominent or anything like that. I just think it's pretty.
