How to avoid cake face???

I use a primer but my makeup cakes up around my eye brows, my nose and my upper lip. How can i avoid this?

Use either a spray bottle of water or a facial mist ( I use the Evian one) spray your face and your brush and the water will help your make up blend more smoothly!

If you apply your makeup with a brush, make sure it is dense, a dense brush will help with cakeyness. I like to apply my powder with a powder brush then 'smooth' it over with a kabuki brush.

do not put too much makeup on your face, you only need just a small amount. if you still feel like you have a cake face, then use a finishing spray.

I always put on lotion or moisterizer before I put on my foundation and if it starts to look cakey around my nose I blend more lotion with my foundation it works great
