Hiya ladies and gents!

I have a big night coming up and need help with my eye make up. I want to wear a green with a gold but have trouble blending them together!

Does anyone have any good blending tips etc? When I blend I just end up looking like I have 1 colour on instead of 2/3 which is annoying!

Also I have real trouble shaping my eyeshadow if that makes any sense? When I put it on my eyelid the way I shape my eyeshadow makes me look like an old lady lol!

Any help/tips/advice would be great!!

well you could do a few things. you could do a nice shimmery green eyeshadow and line your upperlid with a gold eyeliner. you wouldnt have to do any blending for that.

but if you want to blend it i would start with a light green shadow on the inner corner, a darker one on the rest of the lid and the gold on the outer corners. you should blend lightly, don't over blend or you'll end up blending them all together

how about a green and gold cu he crease look with brown. In other words green on lid, gold on upper crease and a matte brown to cut the green from the gold.

Here's an idea,

for the shape, try to blend slowly and in only a small area at a time. if you have trouble doing this, use a smaller brush. you can also use a piece of tape from the outer corner of your eye up to the end tip of your brow to create a very clean cut. also sometimes, it might be the colors you are using. some colors (especially shimmers) will look all the same on your lid once blended out. if you're still having trouble, try doing just a green smokey eye/ or just a green eye and accent it with gold liner or light gold glitter in the inner corner.
hope this helps! (:
