I don't have any pictures of my hair scrunched but I've used a tresemme gel for scrunching my hair before. I loved the hold and look of my hair using that product plus it made my hair feel weightless. Except I didn't like the crunchy hard feeling from using it. Is there any products that would still give me a long lasting close to all day hold and not make my hair feel weighed down? Also I have extremely thick long hair if that helps and if you have any tips on scrunching hair that would be appreciated.

The herbal essences totally twisted detangler or mousse would be perf for that I have naturally curly hair so it made my hair look insanely curly but my friend with thick straight hair would use that to scrunch her hair and it looked great.

Thanks Tiffany. I actually just bought an herbal essences mousse yesterday but sadly it didn't scrunch up my hair as well as when I used gel but it's probably cause they difference in what they hair. An the fact that I used the mousse in a hurry since I had to go out and couldn't take as much time as I wanted on my hair.

Which one was it?

It was one someone else got for me. I can't think of the name specifically since I don't have it on hand but I think it said volumizing on it and it was their strongest hold of a 4.

I have thin straight hair and the only thing that works for me is using gel and hair spray but my hair ends up hard and I don't like that.

Yeah some hairsprays won't make my hair feel hard but the gel does. I think my stylist said it has something to do with the alcohol in it.

Paul Mitchell Round Trip. Only 12 bucks doesn't leave it crunchy.

Thanks Ashlyn, but does it work on really thick hair? Mine is extremely thick and long!

All you have to do is scrunch out the crunch once it's dry with a t-shirt and a little bit of oil if needed to soften it 😊
