You know the whole "First Day of School" deal. You wear your cutest, newest outfit. You dress all fancy, with pretty makeup and perfect hair, and this brand new, perfectly picked out outfit, and a brand new, perfect you!! Every year, I put off putting together an outfit, because I don't wanna be clich?! I wish I could just get over it, but I'm super stubborn about it!! I don't know what's up with me!! This is my last "First Day", and I really wanna look nice, but I'm still fighting with myself over it!! Gah! Help!!

Thanks, yeah, that's what I try. I'm usually a pretty casual dresser (tights, sweaters, boots, flats), and I'm worried it's not good enough.

Yeah back when I was in high school it was such a big deal and the thought of it now makes me nauseous. Now that I'm a sophomore in college I look back on those days and realise how silly the whole thing is :P it's alright to want to impress everyone because you want to leave good impressions and all but I don't understand going desperately out of my way to make myself look like a million bucks just to sit around orientation classes and for no one to really care :P I'd say to stick with your style and be comfortable! Maybe if you want to look your best do your hair with extra attention to detail, same goes for your makeup. Maybe play around with your accessories a bit, but I wouldn't say to go for a full makeover :P.
