I personally don't put it over my foundation. It wouldn't really make sense to in my opinion. Primer is made to create a barrier between your skin and foundation and help the foundation adhere better and makes the application better. Most primers are white as well, so it'd make your foundation look weird. I've never really heard of putting it over your foundation..

The only reason someone would do that with the Porefessional is if their pores are looking big throughout the day and they want to touch up, they can just pat it on to the spots where there pores are looking larger.

That would make no sense haha! Primer is meant to keep the foundation in place all day and if you put it on top how will that work plus it will ruin your foundation

You're correct. Benefit's Porefessional can be applied over foundation to minimize pores. It can also be reapplied over foundation to mattify skin for flash photography.
