In the future I'd like to work as a make up artist just for a year or two.do females have Better chances to get hired than males? (Mac, sephora)

Honestly, I don't think it matters. If I was the person hiring for a makeup artist job, and I saw a guy wanting to be hired, that'd be appealing to me. Stereotypically, that's not something guys do. So seeing that would strike me as someone with dedication. And, I don't think I've ever seen a guy wanting to be a makeup artist that was bad at it. Every guy I've seen who wants that gives it 110%. So don't let being a guy stop you from doing what you want, it's not a big deal. What you've got in your pants doesn't define what your hands can do.

Some times male makeup artists can do it much better than females. When I look on Instagram I see that de most females are doing the basic things. But male's add something that make it right! I prefer a male makeup artist!

Male make up artists can be just as talented and friendly as any female make up artists which at the end of the day is what companies look for, but it can be a benefit in terms of brand's diversity programs!
