I have African American hair and most straighteners make my hair look stiff! What are your opinions on the chi straightener?
Help!! Any straightener suggestions?

Sorry I've not heard of chi, ghd is the only one in my area that people like to use. Perhaps vs Sassoon? Or cloud?

Are they? I havnt looked at the price. But if you want one that will actually work on African American hair without it turning stiff you might have to pay the price. Not sure though

$100 ain't too bad, and if you do the 30 day trial for $15, you can just send it back if it doesn't work for you :)

I just don't want to spend so much money on something that won't work:/

Maybe if you go to a place that sells them and try them?
Sep 11, 2013

Then try the trial? Look at the reviews and videos about it perhaps. Hope you find a good one :)

Chi! I love my chi hair straightener. It heats up quickly and snakes my hair so smooth and nice.

I definitely don't think you should get the Instyler! I got it and it hasn't been touched since I tried it! I have thick, curly hair and the instyler takes forever to get a small section of my hair straight. I use chi irons and they've always worked for me!
