What is the difference between getting your hair rebonded and keratin smoothening treatment?

I have got it rebonded once , so I know. But does the smoothening treatment make your hair bone straight? or only reduces the frizz? and for how long does it last? also let me know the cost of both, for long hair almost upto the waist because I have got a limit to my pocket money :P
which is better in your opinion if you have ever got it done?

Also do send a picture of your before and after hair, if you got it treated :)

Keratin kills your ends.
It's like getting it relaxed.
Keep in mind that the keratin is so strong that by law they are only allowed to perform it three times a day as its a major health hazard.
Also, it causes cancer.
Yes I am aware so does everything... But everytime I got the keratin done I suffered from some pretty severe migraines. And I never had migraines before.
Yes it'll leave your hair straight. But so will many other treatments without the cost, without damaging your hair and without causing any trouble. Most people that I've seen done it usually end up with straight brittle hair just like the relaxer.
So it is definitely not as fab as people make it out to be.
I did it for three years. Now I just take care of my hair and straighten it and it looks a lot better then when I had the keratin.

And be advised it kills about 3+ inches of your hair. Ask your stylist about different treatments. I believe there is a chocolate hair treatment that works wonders and isn't so hazardous to your health.
