Although I am 24, I am fairly new with wearing makeup and have got by with only wearing foundation, blush and mascara. I have now got to a point where I want to try new things. I have got winged eyeliner pretty much down pact, but am unsure how to do my lower eyeliner. I have tried previously, but it just seems today run into my eye or rub off after 20 mins! Any tips for this one? thanks :)

I would suggest Urban Decay's eyeliner pencils and setting it with a matching eyeshadow. Or Kat Von D's pencil liners. Both of them are the only eyeliner that will stay on my eyes so I would recommend trying either or both :) I love UD but I particularly loved Kat Von D's.

I use palladios primer for my lower eyeliner then go over it with the pencil and that keeps it in place all day!

You can always just blend a kohl liner into the lower lashes. you don't need to go all the way across. it seems many people these days are tending to stay away from going all the way around your eyes. it makes them look a little smaller and they liner fades or runs throughout the day. not to mention all that gunk you get in your eye! I guess the same goes for mascara but I dunno, I just thought I'd share that with you :)

Eye pencil, dabble concealer underneath it and it shouldn't run!

Thanks girls! awesome :) @Audra, I actually was wondering that myself. I wear contact lenses half the time and don't want my eyes to appear smaller! Also I have very dry eyes so any gunk that gets in there, tends to stay in there! I think I will try your suggestion first :) thanks again.

Lower liner can be bitch to work with sometimes. So don't worry, happens to best of us. But it depends where you put it also. If its the water line then I think gel liner works good for that. Plus it looks darker than pencil.
Also black eyeliner does make your eye appear a tad bit smaller. Not too much. What I do is apply a white or flesh tone liner on my water line and then put the black on my lash line. And smear it a bit. No harsh lines allowed. Lol.
It's works great.
Also when I put the white eyeliner on my water line I still do the black on my lash line but I just go halfway. Then with a eyeshadow I smoke it out a bit and bring it in a bit to the inner corner of the eye but not to much.

@Diggie, those are great tips. Thats more or less what I was talking about but the white liner tip is awesome! I never thought of that but it would definitely work. I found the best tool for the smudging technique is that little sponge tip that sometimes come on the other end of some pencil liners. I removed it and glued it onto another handle from a tool I wasnt using anymore. Its awesome. you should try that and the white liner tip for sure! Also for your top lash line if you gently push your finger in the middle of your lid, you can line directly underneath your top lashes. Here's a video explaining what I am talking about but it completely transforms your eyes! ps. I am constantly getting gunk buildup in the corners of my eyes lol so your not alone!http://youtu.be/6pkayZMTEsg.

I use a setting powder (arbonne translucent setting powder $45) I dip a small eyeshadow brush in it, tap it on the rim, and then just brush it over the liner on my bottom lash. Viola! No running liner during the day. I always would have eyeliner smudged so bad on my lower lashes through out the day, but now it's perfect till bedtime. @diggie I never would have thought to use white, that's on my list to buy. Thanks for those tips!!

Urban decay 24 hour is amazing I bring it when I'm camping or going to a music festival ect. I went to sephora a few years back and told her how my eyes get watery sometimes outdoors and I don't want my make up running or making my eyes water even more. This has been great for me!

Set it & make sure to touch up during the day.
Sucks to touch up, but you just have to do it!
