I'm in need of a really good foundation. I need something that looks natural but gives good coverage. I also have pretty oily skin so something to control oil that won't clog pores is a definite. I'm not super worried about price but I can't spend hundreds of dollars or anything on make up. Suggesting primers, concealers, etc. that work with the foundation is okay also.

I am also oily and I am super satisfied with my clarins everlasting foundation.it has a great coverage too.it is a little bit pricey but worth to try.

I use Makeup Forever HD. Feels super light on the skin & is excellent for pics! About $42 from Sephora, but I use a small amount & apply w/ my foundation brush. :) my skin is oily.

I have recently got samples of of Kat Von D Lock-it and Urban Decay Naked, I am not sure how they are with oil skin, but I like them (I am normal skin). Kat is a little thicker and more coverage but if you use a sponge with a spray or two of water on it "thins" it with keeping the same coverage. UD isn't as good of coverage but still pretty good, and feels weightless. In the end I think I will be going with UD because my concealer matches it way better (I use a UD concealer, and with Kat it almost does a light highlight). Really like them both.

I have oily skin too and just switched to no 7 mattifying foundation in calico. I'm seriously in love! I use nyx hd primer, then my no 7 foundation, and set it with rimmel stay matte powder!

I use to buy any old cheap foundation until I discovered high end makeup, I was always a bit wary of the price in MAC because I wasn't sure if I should risk buying an expensive foundation and end up breaking out, but I'm the same I was on the hunt for very good coverage, something that looked natural and would stick well to my oily skin, Studio Fix Fluid Foundation is soooo amazing and I've been using it for three years straight now and wouldn't change it for anything else in the world.
