Business casual. A nice blouse and some decent pants. Try to stick to neutral colors and don't wear extremely high heels. Keep your hair out of your face.

Chicken shop, not like fast food they sell different chicken things for you to cook, like a butcher.

You have to look put together and professional, but casual. I think a very informal knee-lengh dress with a blazer and flats would look totally cute. And put your hair out of your face. For makeup, hide any imperfections, then put a little bit of blush, fill in brows and mascara. You definitely wanna keep it as natural as you can.

Jeans aren't usually formal enough, nor are leggings. I guess it just depends how formal the chicken shop is? For an interview I had today I wore black tights, a casual patterned dress with a black blazer jacket

Business casual is the best. Dress like you care a lot about getting the job [neatly, properly, etc.] if they see you put effort in looking nice, they'll see you're respecting them. If you're dress like you don't care [super casual, inappropriately, etc.] they'll think you don't respect them or aren't serious about wanting the job.
