Ok, so every foundation I try goes patchy after a few hours. Even my rimmel 255 hour one! So if anyone has recommendations of long lasting foundations/ good primers or finishing sprays or even any tips on how to stop patchy foundation would be greatly appreciated! :) x

One primer i have been LOVING lately is the Bodyography Veil Foundation Primer. It literally makes your foundation stay in place ALL day ;] Also, have you tried the Covergirl Clean Oil control foundation?

Well if your willing to pay extra for a good foundation try Estée Lauder double wear. I have oily skin and big lasted from 12+ hours in Disneyland. Also I use either a bb cream or the rimmel primer under it with the bare mineral veil on top. They all work for me and I have really oily skin! But don't for get a good moisturizer to begin with !

I'd also try Urban Decays all nighter setting spray (:

Depending on how oily your skin can get, MUFEHDF can get a little dewy on the skin but could be helpful for you if you only oily in some/small areas. But if you don't mind paying $42 for foundation. Then Smashbox Studio Skin lasts up to 15 hours. I tested it in 115 degree weather and it didn't move at all, no matter the primer. But if you are looking for a nice primer/setting spray, then try Hourglass primer to help with staying power and oil. Also, M.A.C prep & prime is great as well. UD All nighter when spraying in a "T" THEN "X" will keep up to its disclaimer.

After I started working with beauty and especially skin care I realized that the best foundation is the one made by real dermatologists and skin care professionals and that's when I started using VICHY foundation and I fell in love as nothing ever felt so natural and smooth. Plus , it's best to apply a moisturizer beforehand :)

Try a TooFaced or CoverFX primer. Both are wonderful. I wear MAC Matchmaster foundation for 10+ hours everyday. It's sealed with MAC Prep +Prime Translucent Finishing Powder and Urban Decay's All Nighter Spray.

Chloe, whatever foundation u choose, remember the moisturizer plays a big roll, if u get a moisturizer that has oil in it, stick to a oil base foundation. If ur skin is oily and ur moisturizer is oil free, ur foundation should be oil free too, water and oil don't go together so if I mix them ur foundation will never last! ;)
