I've narrowed it down to a few. Some things you should know, I have oily and sensitive skin and I'm looking for a medium coverage that's buildable and I want to have a matte look. I'm choosing between these:

1. MUFE Mat Velvet
2. Estee Lauder Doublewear
3. Kat Von D Lock-it Foundation
4. Revlon Colorstay

Revlon Colorstay is similar to Doublewear but cheaper so if it was between those two I'd say go for Colorstay. I found an amazing one - Boots No7 Beautifully Matte.

I have oily skin too and it's not particularly sensitive but my pores get blocked super easily and no7 foundations seem to help clear it up

Kim took the words out of my mouth lol! No7 is really quite good as is color stay, double wear is my favourite and I feel it works with oily skin. If you are unsure your local department store should give you trial samples so you can see what one really works for you and feels right

Good to know! I was going to get samples first before I buy it anyway. I've heard a lot of good and bad things about Estee Lauder Doublewear. A lot of people like it but I heard a lot of people think it's really heavy on the skin. I had been leaning towards trying MUFE Mat Velvet.

3! I also like color stay but 3 has an awesome matte natural finish.

I have oily and acne prone skin- Estée Lauder Doublewear LIGHT is just perfect for me. But my HG drug store priced foundation is the Revlon Color Stay Whipped foundation... It is honestly incredible in all regards. Ridiculously easily to apply and blend (I use my Urban Decay Optical Blurring blush) sets to a perfectly matte finish and lasts alllllllll day. It has totally replaced many of my high end foundations! The Clinique Stay Matte is also a good choice and oldy-but-goody for me!
