Does using a lip primer make a difference to you all when applying lip stick? What primer would you suggest? Which would you say is the best?

YES. I use MAC Prep+Prime or Smiths Minted Rose Lip Balm ($6 at Sephora).

I have never used lip primer, but I hear that Too Faced has a great lip primer. I will probably get one to try once I run out of my current lipstick, but until then the lipstick I use (no longer made) works great with no liner or primer.

Erin yeah was looking into that particular one from mac but needed to know if it was good. Yeah BRittany I loved the too faced shadow insurance primer and their lip insurance is supposed to be just as good! Just so many to pick from and any decide.

The one from MAC is good, I like it. But I have to make sure my lips are nice and smooth first. Or it doesn't work quite as well.
