Foundation usually has more coverage than BB cream, but BB cream is lighter on your face. Personally, I'd get the foundation.

I like the BB cream better, but it depends what you're going for. I personally like the low coverage look with concealer on blemishes right now rather then the all around full coverage look.

I liked the Smashbox bb cream buts it's not full coverage as my regular foundation.

The smashbox made me pretty oily, and the the shades are too pink for my yellow skin tone.
