Okay, I spend so much time trying to find a good foundation and make it all even and smooth (I have really red, oily skin). At the beginning of the day, it looks perfect and by the end of the day it's all blotchy and rubbing off my nose. Keep in mind all I do is sit at school and it all rubs off. I use primer, powder and setting spray. Help?

I'd try adding some concealer to your red spots? A green toned one? At least that's what I've heard. Hmmm, also throughout the day if recommend touching up with a translucent powder to get rid of redness and spots. Hope I helped

I have the same type of skin as you, except I don't use foundation. Ah I can never find the right one.

It must be your foundation... I don't really have any other reason. Maybe apply extra concealer over your nose?

I use powder through the day but it still happens, I'm using covergirl outlast foundation right now.

Maybe try adding another layer on your nose? Or some concealer under it.

What primer are you using? and what foundation? and setting spray?

Exfoliate, foundation, no color setting powder. Add concealer if necessary with a brush don't rub it in with your hands. Carry blot sheets.

Prep your nose with primer and set after! Maybe try foundation then concealer then set it with powder and setting spray

When your skin gets oily try using oil blotting sheets...then reapply

Yeah, Leean is right.
I have really oily skin too, and the same problems that come with it. CVS has little packets of oil removing wipes and they work really well. Also, try this: mix a tablespoon of cornstarch with enough water to make a paste, then spread it on your face (or wherever is oily.) Wait until it dries and wash it off gently in the shower or at the sink. Your skin might get really dry at first, but it gets rid of the oil. The place I read about it says do it every day, but for skin drying reasons I've been doing it about twice a week or so and it makes a pretty big difference.

Milk of magnesia as a primer :) it'll suck up all the excess oil on your nose and dry matte so its easy to apply foundation :)

Concealer for sure

I used to have the same problem!
Steps: wash face, apply primer, concealer and matte foundation, then get a dense brush or a sponge and wet it and dip it into powder and apply it on your nose. Idk why this worked but since the powder was wet it really packed on but didn't look cakey at all and it will keep your foundation on longer! Plus blotting sheets instead of rubbing your nose is helpful. :) hope I helped a little!

I have the same skin. first prime your face, then used a green toned consealer to get rid of the redness on your face. then an oil free foundation, translucent powder to set everything. of course you can use a setting spray if you want. throughout the day you can either re apply concealer or transulcent powder if you want. oh & use blotting paper. it will take all the oil and extra shine away! ;) hope this helps! :)

Try using MAC paintpot on the end of your nose as your primer instead of what you use on the rest of your face. Then put on your foundation like normal. Also, when putting on foundation, blot your face first, then put on primer, then SET your primer with translucent powder, then foundation, then set your foundation. This helps it stay put longer.
