Hello Claire, i have just graduated from my diploma and loved every single minute of it. It had been a long time dream and goal of mine to do a diploma of specialist makeup services. Another reason for it was to learn industry tips of SPFX makeup but learnt so much more. Especially airbrush, in love with airbrush now.
If makeup is something you love and want to make a career out of it then do it. Its was the hardest, most challenging and rewarding 6 months of my life.
good luck if you enroll :)

Its also been a dream of mine since the start of highschool, so now finally having the chance is so incredible.
Is the SPFX makeup really difficult? cause i had a phase a year ago where thats all i wanted to do, and its now in the diploma im enrolling for ! And my father is an airbrush artist and man oh man do i love it too! It takes great skill, which i cannot master yet, but congrats to you for it (:
Thankyou for the advice ! its veryappreciated (:

Hi Claire, i found SPFX most enjoyable and exciting as that's what i love doing. I didn't find it hard, just picked up so many better tips on application techniques to perfect my skills i already have. Prior to the course i was self taught in SPFX, now trained in it i can see an improvement, but like anything practice is all you can do to improve on any skill. Plus i learnt more about the products i had in my own kit which was very helpful since i had spent so much additional money building a spfx kit too.
Because i had been experimenting for the last 4 years prior to my course in spfx and understanding the products, the knowledge of how the products worked and their purpose helped me so i didn't find it hard. Just something i wouldn't want to repeat, like aging with latex - a face full of latex is painful. That i didn't enjoy :P
