I get candle holders and plates of different sizes from smallest to largest from top to bottom and glue them together.
1) start off with the largest plate and glue a candle holder on the center of the plate.
2) get the largest plate after that one and glue it on the top of the candle holder that's connected to the bottom plate.
3)glue the smallest plate on the top as a final step

I did BriBris idea a long while back, using glue at first. hot glue and cazy glue doesn't stick well to glass (hot glue doesn't at all). I used silicone "liquid nails". that works wonderfully and you can get it at a hardware store.

You can turn anything into one if you are good at getting creative.staple some wire screen into an old picture frame for earings and use eye hooks at the bottom to hold necklaces, turn a cheap small curtain rod into a necklace holder with some little hooks. get some dollar store platters and candle holders, glue them together so that you have them stacked big plate, candle holder, medium plate, candle holder, small plate and paint it some fun colors. You can also use an old plastic silverware bin to organize your jewelry inside a drawer.
