Don't be afraid to take Scissors to your high school shirt to make it fit better I used to do it all the time in hs and you can make it look edgy

It's cute, but I agree, the shirt doesn't fit too well (it is a t-shirt, after all.) What I usually do with a too-big or too-boxy t-shirt is tie up the bottom with a rubber band and if the sleeves are too long, roll them up. You can even cut out the collar or sleeves.
