Eco tools has nice affordable brushes! If your willing to pay more then I would go with Sigma or Mac

I don't know if I'd recommend Sigma for beginners since they're pricey (great quality though). E.L.F. surprisingly has a good set of brushes that are only $3 each. :) There's also Sonia Kashuk.

ELF brushes! Super cheap, but high quality! I recommend them for everyone! Not just beginners. :) I will admit that the metal part of some of my brushes eventually detached from the handle, but it's nothing a little glue can't fix!

Okay so I haven't has much access to very many different brushes but by far, Origin's Japn blush brush (I use it for foundation hehehe) it amazing!! I actually just found t in a drawer so I have no idea how much it was...
I'm excited to her about elf products being good :D

Kirklands brushes are the best I've had, it comes in a set for $60 I think. They are more expensive then ELF but applies and feels much better. They have also never shed on me and I've had them for over three years! ELF is cheaper but I would only reccommend their C brush, angled liner brush, small stippling brush and blending brush. Everything else sheds like crazy after a while and the dollar brushes are total poop. Sephora brushes are expensive and don't hold up as well as the Kirkland ones, their travel brushes are also terrible except the lip brush which for a while I used as my eyebrow to go brush (for gel). I havent tried real technique but I hear they're wonderful. Eco tool has the best travel size brushes but thats all I reccomend from them, their tiny kabuki brushes I love but not the bigger sized ones from them. Hope I could help.:)

Elf!(-: But I have a several Mac brushes and nearly all of the Real Technique brushes and I can tell you for a FACT that Real Technique are much better than Mac and MUCH MUCH cheaper, and my Mac brushes always malt )-: Breaks my heart cause they're ever so lovely and more than double price of Real Tech's but that life )': x
