What to do with my hair?

What can I say...my hair is boring me, and it's so hard to manage. I'd love to be able to get out of bed, brush it and that's that. Instead I have to style it and style it and style it again, it's so tiring, time consuming and frustrating. It's also really boring, my hair is just sort of 'there'. I hate my fringe/bangs the most though, because I have a cowslick that won't behave >_<

I don't know how I want to change it though. I don't want to have short (like, bob length or shorter) hair, because I spent a year and a half growing it out. Any ideas?

Also, I'll happily take any styling tips on what to do with my hair, or how to maintain the awful cowslick!

Start pinning your bangs back with cute bobby pins to let em grow back into your hair and then there isn't the cowlick. You could some rad hair extensions till the time being till your hair grows out and learn cute stuff like fishtail braids to the side! I love ballerina buns with accessories too, and I've been huge on braiding my hair all summer. You could do half up half down too! Pin the bangs to the side like suggested before, then pull half of your hair back with bobby pins or a cute clips. Btw your current hair color really makes your eyes pop!!!!

I used to have the same problem with my cowslick. I grew my fringe out in the end. Once my fringe was long enough to integrate into the rest of my hair, my cowslick started to behave!

In terms of doing things with your hair, why don't you french plait either side of your parting and pin up around the back. Try and make it slightly messy to give that wild tendril look.

Thanks! I had no idea it was so simple to tame the horrible cowslick! :D

Flip your bangs. I do that every once in awhile. Gives a little change & also scrunching it is fast & easy. With slightly wet hair scrunch you hair with a little bit of mousse or gel.

Pin bangs like already said before! But I don't think they look bad! =) I'm loving different braids and messy buns or up-do's right now!

Thanks guys! Just want to say I've started pinning my bangs down to get rid of the cowslick and I can already see a difference! Thanks for the advice :)
