It won't fade as much, the only way to make it lighter is to strip your hair or bleach it.

If you recently dyed it, buy Color Oops in extra strength. It will do little to no damage to your hair and restore it to your natural color. You can buy it from Walmart or Rite Aid for about ten bucks. If your hair is past your arm pits I recommend getting two boxes. Good luck.

Shampoo it every day as long end as much as you can be bothered and use tea tree shampoo it strips the colour fast as

You can use vinegar to strip the color from your hair. Or you can go to a hairstylist and have them color remove your hair and color it to the brown you want. There is no need for bleaching.

NEVER STRIP YOUR HAIR! bleach will also do more damage then good. Be patient and shampoo is more frequently but also take care of it. And if you hate it a lot put some highlights in or balyage.

Anti dandruff shampoo fades hair dye really quickly! might take a fortnight or so but it'll lighten it a lot safer than stripping!
