I need some ideas for a dress. If anyone can help, I have an hourglass shape. I'll try and post some pictures but I'm short at 5'4. so most of the dressed I haven't liked because I look like I shrunk. So please help. Oh! and if you'd like to add looks to the dress that would be great.

Also trying formal wear on with heels is key to finding the right length and shape. sometimes its easier to pick the heels first and bring them when you go dress shopping.

I don't suggest the 2nd pic. Remember it's a military ball so you have to be a little more on the conservative side. And don't make it look prom-ish either. I had a ready hard time wearing something to my husbands corpsman ball.
