I have so hard to find inspiration and when I do it comes out really good but when I try to push something out of thin air it dosn't come out as good as I would hope to.
So I wounder where do you find your inspiration to do all these amazing makeup I've seen?

Background colours from whatever I like in music videos. That's 98% of my makeup tutorials.

I find a lot of inspiration from photos right here on Beautylish. I get inspiration from fashion magazines and colors of the season. Art is a great place to find inspiration, with color and shapes.

I get inspiration from almost anything! Looks here on Beautylish, looks that I see in commercials or beauty shows, I've recently asked friends for inspiration, such as their favorite Disney princess or the one place on Earth that they find most beautiful, It's a lot of fun translating something like that into something to put on your face!

I get a lot of inspiration from other artists and I also use lists to create different looks. And by that I mean a list of characters, a list of "symbols" or anything else that I personally like. On my channel I do a lot of series and I take inspiration from each item incorporated with that specific series. For example I have a Zodiac Series, and I am currently uploading a video for a new elements series.

My perfume. If I'm wearing a springy scent, I like greens, golds. If I'm wearing something more sensual, I lean more towards dark browns, shimmers. Usually that's how I pick my make up.

I get inspiration from magazines, make-up ads, tv shows, red carpets, editorial pics and youtube gurus

I have fun with it... Sometimes the best of my ideas come from trying out random things that may seem stupid. Such as using loose craft glitter as my prom eyeshadow(: everyone loves it
