Lately I've been hearing a lot of people saying "Wear Spf" "Spf will protect your skin" and all that... I know that Spf will protect your skin from the sun but does it also help your skin even if your not exposed to the sun? Does it do anything besides protect your skin from the sun?

I wouldn't wear it in winter, the rays barely reach you, plus sunscreen is horrible for you so I like to Only wear it when be necessary
