If you have split ends, you should use the Nexxus Pro mend shampoo and conditioner. I have really frizzy wavy hair with really bad split ends because I straighten my hair so much, but after using the pro mend stuff for about 4 months now, it feels and looks way healthier! And it's sooo soft! Plus my split ends are half as bad as they used to be.
Also, I have really thick hair so I never really needed anything for that, but I have a friend who swears by this lavender stuff thats for volumizing and strengthening hair. I can't remember the name of it but it came in a purple oval shape bottle and it was kinda small. If I remember I'll post a pic! :)
Hope this helped!

Get trims regularly-plenty of stuff will smooth the ends but if you're growing your hair you're going to need regular trims so you're not accumulating dead ends. If you have damaged hair you should use a reparative mask to help smooth your strands. Living Proof makes a great mask, but it's pricey. Tresemme's Protein Renewal Crème is great too. Make sure you're using a heat protectant if you're heat styling. Maybe consider supplements like biotin and fish oil.
