Hmm. You may need to invest in a good one from Bobbi Brown or Mac. They last awhile so it's worth the $$. But I think the cheapest would be a concealer pallette. Try Coastal Scents.

The graftobian super palettes cost around $74 but you can find other places that sell them cheaper,they come with 18 different shades to one palette they have ones for warm,cool,and neutral undertones.

I know you said you don't want to splurge atm on foundations, but from personal experience, if it has anything to do with the skin, that is where you want to splurge. Skincare is always important, especially for weddings. Maybe you could try MAC's Matchmaster Foundation. It doesn't go off of skintones, just shades. Because of its formulation, it gives medium to buildable full coverage, while allowing your skin to show through. That would be a great foundation to have in your kit as an artist! You could start by purchasing 1.0, 2.0, 3.0...and then if you needed a shade in between, just mix the two closest colors. Kind of a fool proof foundation. BIG love. Hope this helps love!
