I like the essence one. I think that works fine. I also hear the elf one is really good.

Bobbi brown has the best! I've been using it for 3 years and still love it

I prefer the essence gel liner over the Bobbi Brown and maybelline one because its so much more creamier and sets and doesn't budge through the whole day! Plus, its only $3! ;)

The elf one is my personal favorite. It's three bucks and has lasted me a loooooong time!! I think I bought it in February and its not even 1/4 of the way gone! I wear it almost daily and it stays on really well.

I don't know if gel and liquid is the same thing, but the NYC one in Jet Black is nice.
