I'm watching tutorials on YouTube and they make it seem SO easy but I have a feeling it's not going to be hahahah, I'll let you know how it goes when it arrives :)

I have done my own gel nails. If you are good with polishing your own nails, you can do gel. It really isn't hard.

Forget the gel... Get vinylux instead!! Two coats of their color and their top coat... Lasts about 13 days without a chip... Only issue I have is I can only get it on amazon or eBay... It's my HG and won't ever do anything else.

My friend has a kit and we did my nails. I found that they didn't last. They peeled off like stickers. But she had said that I should use very light layers, and maybe I took that advice to the extreme.

Oh no! I hope that doesn't happen to me :( How long did you cure them under the you've lamp? I ordered it online so it's not here yet but I'll post a picture when I finally do them (if they don't come out to awful) and ill let you know how long they last :)
