I've never tried the MUFE one so I can't compare but I use the Maybelline gel liner on my water line. It stays all day. After 8-9 hours, though it spreads a little in the inner corner. but its nothing drastic.
**This is my experience with this product, it could be different with different people.

Gorgeous Cosmetics has a pencil liner and it does NOT smudge, I bought some after i watched macnc40's IMATS haul and im in love with it cause i had the same problem with liners bleeding under my lash line.

Inglot gel liners. You can get them in every color imaginable, and works amazing for upper lid and waterline. Not to mention they last forever!

UD 24/7 Bleeds like CRAZZYYY for me so I must have the wateriest waterline ever BUT I do love Inglot Gel Liners! In fact, I love Inglot period. But yes that gel liner is pretty fantastic for the water line.. No pencil works on my water line at all. I also seal the gel in with a powder eye shadow (MAC Carbon) and then I make sure to definitely use powder underneath my eyes to keep the entire area DRY! Hope this helps :)

I like the waterline lightened by Tarte but I could be wrong on the brand. I know I got it from Sephora and it was $26 or something ridiculous though.

I actually don't use liner for my waterline, I just use a Laura mercier eyeshadow, I can't remember the shade but I spritz some fix+ or water on my brush and use it as liner for my waterline ! It stays really well !

Something I do if I want my waterline to stay black is use Rimmel's Soft Kohl eyeliner in Jet Black and then using a small brush I apply a matte black eye shadow on top of it! It helps it last a lot longer!
